Steph - Untitled.

I’m the kind of girl who would stuff lollies down her throat, until she gets sick.
I’m the kind of girl who hates blood (so much so, I’d probably faint if I were to casually walk into my room one day, only to find a dead body on my floor – covered in blood), yet crime shows are her thang, y’know?
I’m the kind of girl who couldn’t miss out on an episode of Glee, or else.
I’m the kind of girl you’d find at a party, sitting in a corner reading a book. In other words, I hate parties.
I’m the kind of girl who’d sell her soul to live in a library forever.
I’m the kind of girl who’d turn everything you say into something sexual. I’m not perverted, I swear!
I’m the kind of girl who would write you an essay entitled “Taylor Swift is not country music”, due to popular demand.
I’m the kind of girl who uses the internet to self diagnose herself with some sort of wacky illness.
I’m the kind of girl who would walk a thousand miles, just to see you tonight.
I’m the kind of girl who would burst out laughing for no reason at all.
I'm the kind of girl that laughs at her mistakes, so pardon me if I laugh in your face.
I’m the kind of girl who stays up late because her mum told her not to.
I’m the kind of girl who will spend hours in front of the mirror, taking the photo the world would never get to see.
I’m the kind of girl who’s a sucker for the little things in life.
I’m the kind of girl whose best friends are a pen and notepad.
I'm the kind of girl who lies to herself because she just doesn't want to face the truth.
I’m the kind of girl who hates being late to anything, but always is.
I’m the kind of girl who is so weird… but weird is good, yeah?
I’m the kind of girl who has spent years of not being me, just to fit in. Only recently have I let my true self out; and realised, people like me for who I am. :)
I’m the kind of girl who’s already over the World Cup.
I’m the kind of girl you’d find ALWAYS listening to music.
I’m the kind of girl who is terrified of the future.
I’m the kind of girl who is ever so patient.
I’m the kind of girl who will always be the leader. Never a follower.
I’m the kind of girl who is me, and no one else. You either like me, or you hate me. And I don’t give a damn if you don’t.

Kayla- The Cold Hard Truth Part Three

Part 3 of The Cold Hard Truth. I really hope people are liking this and not just ignoring it. Criticize me or something.

Floating…if only we could all do that. Just float through our lives without a care in the world. But that’s not the way the world works.

The next few hours went by in a blur of police sirens, lights, people, questions, blood, and even more questions. I floated through it easily as I had removed myself from the situation. It was like my body was on auto-pilot. It still answered questions and obeyed orders, but I wasn’t actually there at the moment. I was just watching it all with indifference as if this was happening to someone else and not me. As if my twin brother hadn’t just been murdered. As if he and I were just watching those CSI shows or something like that. The only time I was brought back to reality was when my grandmother came back to the house. Someone must have called her. I had probably told them her number when they asked for it. She came running in with her hand over her heart as if calming it. She looked from me to the policeman who was currently questioning me.

“Isabella. Oh, Isabella,”She came running to me and my face was immediately pressed to her neck as she hugged me. My reaction was to hug her back, so I did. The policemen watched the display of affection with sorrow in his eyes as if he felt sorry for me. How dare he feel sorry for me? Did his twin just die? No, he didn’t. He had no right to feel sorry for me. He must have seen the anger in my eyes because he looked to my grandmother who still had me in her vice-like grip.

“Mrs. Northfield?” My grandmother looked to the man and nodded after finally letting go of me, so I could sit back down on our couch.

“I assume you know what has happened here?”He asked her slowly. She gave a nod and my heart lurched at the amount of emotion in her eyes. She had to hear over the phone; I had to see it. We both had our own nightmares that we would have to deal with for the rest of our lives. She would always fear that someone was dead when her phone rang; I would always be haunted by the image of my brothers mutilated body.

“Do you know what happened exactly?”My grandmother questioned the man. He looked uncomfortable a moment before nodding slowly.

“We have a vague idea,”He took a deep breath before continuing on with the story that I would have burned into my brain for years to come,”We think that Isaac had a friend over. There is evidence of someone else having been in the room before he had been murdered. We think that late last night, early this morning, the person must have killed Isaac with a knife of some kind. We think that the person had continued playing the game after Isaac was dead because of what Isabella has told us. So for any of this to happen, someone Isaac trusted had to have killed him.”

Ruth- Fires fly?

Where are the people that accused me?- The ones who beat me down and bruised me. They hide just out of sight. Can't face me in the light. They'll return, but I'll be stronger. God, I want to dream again. Take me where I've never been. I wanna go there. This time, I'm not scared. Now I am unbreakable. It's unmistakable. No one can touch me. Nothing can stop me. Sometimes it's hard to just keep going, but faith is moving without knowing. Can I trust what I can't see to reach my destiny? I want to take control but I know better. God, I want to dream again. Take me where I've never been. I wanna go there. This time, I'm not scared. Now I am unbreakable. It's unmistakable. No one can touch me. Nothing can stop me. Forget the fear. It's just a crutch that tries to hold you back and turn your dreams to dust. All you need to do is just trust. God, I want to dream again. Take me where I've never been. I wanna go there. This time, I'm not scared. Now I am unbreakable. It's unmistakable. No one can touch me. Nothing can stop me. God, I want to dream again, take me where I've never been. I wanna go there. This time, I'm not scared. Now I am unbreakable. It's unmistakable. No one can touch me. Nothing can stop me.

If you haven't figured it out yet, this is a song. Unbreakable by Fireflight. I was listening to it one day. Then, I listened to the acoustic version. It was amazing. They remind me of a band that most all of my friends like called Flyleaf. Flyleaf is more rock Christian, but I wondered if Fireflight was too. And, no, just because they say "faith is moving without knowing" doesn't mean they're automatically Christians. It's very interesting to hear different types of music and feel the power in every single lyric the singer or singers sing. Maybe you hate this band and don't give a shit, but then why would you be reading this? Hah, got you there.

I do want to tell you guys some stuff. Well, tonight, I'm going to have my first all-nighter with my brother, Ben. It should be fun. That means, though, that'll probably be on the computer all night. So, I might be making more poems and finishing up some stories. Anyone who is staying up too, just tweet me. We can chattt. :) Alright, I think that's it. Thanks, everyone.

OH! Almost forgot! Here's Unbreakable regular version:

And here's the acoustic version:

Be sure to tell me which you like better. Also, Stand Up, the regular version and the acoustic version, are also very good songs by Fireflight.

Wells, bye.
Love ya,
Roof.

Hannah-May- The difference between me and you

The difference between me and you

You see a fat woman and a small man cradled in one another’s arms
Monstrous, disgusting, pointless

I see a loving couple so lost in each other’s eyes it’s hard to look away
Beautiful, belonging, wonderful

You see a pretty young girl and a young boy with glasses rolling around on the gras
What does she see in him?

I see a girl laughing so hard, she can hardly breath, I can see a girl who has found someone who has the power to make her laugh until she cries

You see...

The difference between you and me,
Is that I’m the poet and your just naive
For one second I looked at you and thought maybe you where different
Maybe you’d be the one person who’d look at me
Maybe you’d be the one person who for a single second could see me.
Really
See
Me

A person who
cares about people who are beautiful on the inside
and someone who loves from the bottom on her heart
a person who sees people for who they are
not for whom they pretend to be

Your point A and I’m point Z
The two polar opposites which worlds will never touch

For a split second I thought you could make everything ok
Then I released you where just a star
Along with another billion stars in the night sky
Beautiful, twinkling away majestically

But really all you are is something that was broken a long time ago
That keeps on shining

Hey, this is something i wrote, it's kinda in lyric form again, but it's open for interpretation. Feel free to comment/criticize and shizz XD
Please don't go
I'm all alone
And sick of my own company
Don't be afraid
The promises you make
Will fade eventually
Cause everybody fades away, accordingly
Time after time
I'm sitting in the lime
Of sweet, sour lies
Cause nobody cares
About who, what or where
Or your insecurities
They'll break you in half
And tear you in two
But apparently that's good for you
They always get what they want
Not necessarily what they need
They know how to taunt
Their comments will cut you deep
But stay strong
Hold your ground
They're all wrong
Messing you around
Don't let them get to
It's what they aim to do.
